Summer Term begins!

Well what a busy and exciting half term we have had! Not only have we been dressing up for World Book Day, Red Nose Day and taking part in investigational science every afternoon for National Science Week, but also we have been on a trip to Jaguar Landrover, exploring the amazing way cars are now produced, and donning our bonnets in the wonderful Easter parade!

SATs

Following all the excitement of last half term, it is time to settle down a little and focus because this is the term your children will be sitting their SATs tests. Please do not worry, we can assure you the children do not! All we ask is that your child comes to school every day having had a good night's sleep and you continue the invaluable job of supporting them with the homework we send home, especially reading.

Also this term...Project Make, Save, Buy

For our Make, Save, Buy project we have decided to make something from nothing except your kind donations! We are going to be taking part in a clothing recycling initiative which we hope will teach your children not only about fundraising but also about the importance of sustainability and waste.

All we need is for you to have a clear out of any old clothes, curtains, bed sheets etc and send them in with your child. We will then send these to Phil the Bag, an award winning recycling business, who will pay us for your donations! The more you can throw out, the more money your children will make.  It will then be up to them, as a class or year group, as to how to spend the money.

Happy Easter holidays to all, we look forward to seeing your children well rested and raring to go!
